Welcome to my on-line shop. This shop is here to provide a facility for you to buy film for vintage and collectible cameras so that you can use them again. Camera collecting is fun, but is even more fun when you can take real photographs with your vintage camera.

Not all film formats are still in production. My quest is to provide film for as many formats as possible, including those that have become obsolete and are no longer produced commercially.

How to Shop

This shop is very easy to use. Just click on any category in the left column to browse the shop or enter a keyword in the "search" box for something specific. If you see something you like, enter the quantity you want to buy and click on the [Add to Cart] button. You may click [View Cart / Checkout] at any time to view your purchases and complete your order.

When you have finished browsing just click on [View Cart/Checkout] in the right hand column and then follow the on-screen instructions all the way to the end. Please enter your delivery address and credit card details when prompted.

If you need something urgently, please contact me first to confirm availability and arrange priority shipment.

Obsolete Film

Some films are now out of production and I supply them from old stocks. These will carry a date which will have already passed, however the film will still be usable. I test film batches and store them cold (below 10 degrees). With dated colour film there may be some colour shift which often makes the images more interesting and authentic.

Re-spooled Film

I also supply precision cut and resized film on compatible plastic spools or re-spooled onto original vintage spools. For obsolete formats this is the only way to supply fresh film. In some cases I will also operate a “spool exchange” policy, which means that you must send me an empty spool, or commit to having your film processed by me, so that I can recover the spool at processing time for re-use. This recycling keeps spools in circulation for everyone.

Re-spooled films are considered experimental and are NOT intended for commercial or professional use. (refer to terms)

Terms of Business

Prices

Prices charged will be those shown on the order confirmation.

Payment

Payment is required in advance of delivery of order. All goods remain the property of Photo Supplies until paid for in full. Payment can be made by Cash, cheque or on-line using the Nochex or PayPal payment gateways.

Product Descriptions

I try to be as accurate as possible with product descriptions. Occasionally I may need to substitute items which are no longer available for an equivalent. Images used in the shop are library pictures to aid navigation and may not exactly match the item sold. - Please read the description fully before ordering.

Delivery

Most products are available ex-stock and are normally dispatched within 48 hours although this is not guaranteed. Items not in stock are normally sent within 7 - 10 days. Some rare / imported items may take much longer. Please allow up to 21 days to deliver these items. You will normally be notified of any delays longer than 7 days. To reduce backorders and delays, or to ensure availability, where single films are unavailbe they may be supplied individually from multi packs for your convenience. This in no way affects the type or quality of the film and they will clearly show their process by date.

Incorrect, missing or damaged orders MUST be reported within 7 days of order confirmation. Some heavy items will only be sent by courier service and may incur an additional charge. International Orders International orders are sent by Airmail and any additional shipping charges are shown in the order preveiw before payment is taken. Maximum International Order value is 50.00 GBP. To ensure fair distribution of rare items, large or bulk orders may be rejected and refunded at my discretion.

Returns

You may return any items, with the exception of some special order items, within 10 days of receipt, provided that the goods are returned in as new and undamaged condition and in original unopened packaging.

Refunds

For returned items we will refund the original purchase price for the item only, less any transaction processing fees. Delivery charges are not refundable.

Indemnity

In no event will Photo Supplies UK., its proprietor, its employees or its contractors be liable to any party for any direct, indirect, special, punitive or consequential damages of any kind or any damages whatsoever resulting from the use of this website or products and services provided by Photo Supplies UK.

Modified, resized and re-spooled films are considered experimental and provided for you to use where original films are no longer in production. Use of these films is entirely at your own risk. Please do not load into your camera if you do not accept full responsibility for using these films.

Your Privacy

I never send unsolicited email or spam and I never give email addresses or personal information to third parties. I will occasionally write to ‘existing customers only' who have previously contacted me to let them know about forthcoming offers and special discounts to which they are entitled.

I understand that many of our customers are keen photographers and like to be kept informed of special discounts and additional services. If you do not wish to receive these occasional updates, please let me know and we will mark your account accordingly.

Data Protection

I do not keep any record of credit card details or passwords. I do not store any of your personal information on my servers. I only keep records of name, address, contact and order details (including your email address) on a computer at my operating premises for the purpose of invoicing and providing accounting records as required by law, and to maintain normal customer contact.

Film Processing

Please note that while every effort is made to handle films safely and securely, processing orders are only accepted on the understanding that the value of any order is limited to that of the materials only and Photo Supplies is NOT liable for any loss, damages or consequential loss or damages of any kind relating to your order. As I process films for vintage and collectable cameras and experimenters, poorly exposed or failed films are not refundable. If you intend to send valuable commercial work and require additional cover, alternative arrangements should be made and you must contact us first. Please allow up to 21 days for delivery of your photos. Special processes are processed in batches and may take longer to complete. You will be notified of any delays.

Re-spooled and Resized films

Re-spooled films are considered experimental and are NOT intended for commercial or professional use.

Please note that respooled and resized films are supplied on the understanding that you use them at your own risk. I cannot test films in every type of camera and cannot guarantee that the film will work in yours. By ordering and using my film you accept that my liability is limited only to that of the original purchase price of the film, which I will refund in full if the film is found to be incompatible with your camera.
